Box Score Vikings Drop Last Game of the Season
MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany volleyball team played host to the Beavers from Buena Vista Friday night in their last match of the season. Although the Vikings played tough, the powerhouse offense for the Beavers would hand Bethany a loss (11-25, 21-25, 15-25).
The Vikings were led by
Meagan Sons (Green Isle, Minn./Central) and
Alannah Menk (Saint Cloud, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice) with five kills apiece, while teammates
Kristen Mielke (New Germany, Minn./Mayer Lutheran) and
Alex Hansen (Austin, Minn.) added four and three kills, respectively.
Defensively for the Vikings,
Jessica Grimsley (Waconia, Minn./Mayer Lutheran) and
Jasmine Carlson (Windom, Minn.) led the team with seven and six digs.
The Vikings end their season with an overall record of 5-20 and a 2-6 conference record.
