BETHANY FALLS TO MIAC-LEADING ST. OLAF

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The men's soccer team took a trip up to Northfield to take on the Oles of St. Olaf in a non-conference match up. The Oles, who are currently 1st in the tough 11-team MIAC conference proved their worth on Monday afternoon by defeating the Vikings 5-0. With the loss the Vikings move to 2-8-2 on the season. 

Bethany's Kenneth Johnson (Otsego, Minn./Rogers) and Broderick Brown (North Mankato, Minn./MN Valley Lutheran) each recorded a shot for the Vikings, with Brown recording a shot on goal. Matt Bitter (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) recorded 10 saves for the Vikings.

Up next for the Vikings will be another MIAC foe as St. Mary's comes to town on Wednesday October 7th. So come out to the Bethany Soccer Field and stop by for the girls match that begins at 5 p.m., and the mens beginning at 7 p.m. and cheer on your Vikings
