Box Score PAPILLION, Neb. – The BLC Vikings defeated Nebraska Christian by a final score of 5-1 in their second of two road-games to start the season. The win evened BLC's record at 1-1 heading into Labor Day.
The conditions were hot and humid, but the Vikings came ready to play. BLC took control of the game early and didn't look back. The Vikings were led today by
Jonathan Sehloff with two goals.
Samuel Duran,
Noah Gernander, and
Samuel Kinney each added a goal of their own.
Moritz Bruns made his second start in net for the Vikings and earned the win along with the Viking defense.
"It was nice to come away with a win in our first trip of the season," said head coach Rob Pipal. "We have seen some exciting things from this group of guys and we're looking forward to the next one already."
UP NEXT: The Vikings travel to St. Paul, MN to play Bethel University on Thursday, September 6 at 2 PM.
