MINNEAPOLIS – The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (13-6 overall, 13-1 UMAC) defeated North Central 4-0 Saturday night for the first regular season UMAC Championship in program history.

All four goals occurred in the first half.

Freshman Nick Lundberg (Mankato, Minn.) set the career record for keeper wins as he has 11 to date. The previous mark was 10 set by William Tatge (2007-09) and Moritz Bruns (2018-19).


 
With the victory, BLC set a new mark for season wins with its 13^th of the season. This surpassed the previous record of 12 set in 2010 and 2019.

The Vikings are the No. 2 seed in the UMAC Tournament and will host #3 Northland Wednesday. Game time is yet to be announced.
