HOWIE-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Bethany Lutheran men's golf team is in 41
st place in the 43-team field after the second round of the NCAA Championships Wednesday. The Vikings carded a 348 on the day to finish with a two-round team score of 686.
The field has been cut down to 18 teams, and the Vikings unfortunately will not advance past the second round.
Methodist is in first with its 581 and Henry Angier of Methodist leads all individuals with his 141.
Senior Noah Fick (Sioux Falls, SD) shot an 83 on the day, to finish with a two-round score of 161, which is a new low score for a BLC competitor at the NCAA Championships. The 686 also set a new program best at this event.
