BECKER, Minn. - The Bethany men's golf team carded the lowest score (302) during Friday's second round of the UMAC Championships, moving into second place with a two-round total of 611. The Vikings trail leader UW-Superior by just three strokes entering Saturday's third and final round.Â
Keaton Ginter moved into sole possession of first place after carding a one-over par 73. Ginter was consistent all day with 15 pars and one birdie. Julian Bhardwaj was also one-over par on the day, moving up five spots into eighth place. Tyson Wicklund posted a 77 and is tied for sixth place, August Waxin finished with a 79 and is in 13th place, while Victor Geijerman is in 21st after shooting an 82.Â
Lydia Schmid and Kennedy Halper competed for the women. Schmid posted an 87 and is in 15th place, while Halper carded a 106 and is in 28th place.Â
The third and final round at Pebble Creek is set for Saturday.Â
