WALKER, Minn. - Keaton Ginter fired a career best 71 on Tuesday afternoon to help the Bethany Lutheran men's golf team to their second team victory in as many days as they shot 318 (+30) at the Tianna Golf Course in Walker, Minn. Bethany won the event by five, with Martin Luther College shooting a 323 (+35). Minnesota State-Fergus Falls and Minnesota Morris tied for third place with scores of 335 (+47).
Complimenting Ginter's 1-under par were solid rounds from Jakob Swanson and Teien Murphy who eached fired off scores of 79 (+7) for the Vikings. Eli Wetzel improved on his score from yesterday with an 89 (+17), while Ian Krenik and Arturo Fraile Beltran each shot 92 (+20).Â
On the women's side, Minnesota Morris won the event with a 380 (+92), while MLC came in second with a 451 (+163). Bethany Lutheran did not register a team score due to a player having to withdraw, but Olivia Krause led the Viking individuals with a 112 (+40). Chloe Madson carded a 115 (+43) while Jordan Smith shot 137 (+65).
