BECKER, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's golf team took to the UMAC Preview on Thursday hosted at Pebble Creek Golf Course and claimed a fourth place finish with a score of 336 (+48). UW-Superior won the event with a team score of 305 (+17) with North Central right behind at 308 (+20).
Jake Swanson continued his solid run for the Vikings, firing a 76 (+4) to finish a tie for fourth. Fellow sophomore
Keaton Ginter finished in a tie for 14
th after he shot 81 (+9).
Eli Wetzel had a solid day for the Vikings, firing off an 85 (+13) to beat his previous season low by two strokes, while
Teien Murphy rounded out the Bethany scoring with a 94 (+22).
Arturo Fraile Beltran also competed for the Vikings, carding a 96 (+24) in his first UMAC Preview.
The Bethany women also had three individuals compete at the Preview, with
Olivia Krause leading the bunch by tying a career low with a 102 (+30).
Isabella Garza also played well shooting a 113 (+41) while
Chloe Madson carded a 119 (+47).
Bethany will be back in action a week from today when they host Crown College for a dual.
