WASECA, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran men's golf team hosted a triangular on Thursday afternoon and
Teien Murphy earned medalist honors to help the Vikings to a 1st place finish. Bethany shot a team score of 309, defeating Minnesota Morris who shot a 323 and Crown who shot 327.
Murphy led the Vikings, tying for first place at the event as he shot a new career low at 75 (+5), while
Keaton Ginter finished in third with a 76 (+6).
Jake Swanson continued his steady play for Bethany firing off a 78 (+8) to finish in sixth place, while
Eli Wetzel fired another career low with an 80 (+10).
Arturo Fraile Beltran and
Ian Krenik rounded out the Vikings scores with an 87 (+17) and 98 (+18), respectively.
Bethany will be back in action next Friday when they host the BLC Invite at Crow River Golf Club in Hutchinson, Minn.
