BUFFALO LAKE, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's and women's golf teams competed at the MLC Invite at Oakdale Golf Club in Buffalo Lake, Minn. on Saturday afternoon. The Viking men finished in fourth place by tying a season low score of 309 (+29), while the women finished in seventh with a 444 (+156).
Leading the charge once again for the Vikings was
Jake Swanson who posted a 72 (E), with
Keaton Ginter finishing just behind him at 73 (+1).
Teien Murphy played a solid round for Bethany as well with an 81 (+9) while
Eli Wetzel posted an 83 (+11) to round out the Vikings scoring.
For the women,
Chloe Madson had a solid day as she finished t-19
th with a 102 (+30), while
Olivia Krause shot a 109 (+37).
Isabella Garza and
Jordan Smith rounded out the Bethany team score with 114 (+42) and 119 (+47), respectively.
The Vikings will now prepare for the UMAC Championships which will take place at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn. next Thursday through Saturday.
