NEW ULM, Minn. - Keaton Ginter and
Jake Swanson finished first and second at the Wittenburg Cup on Thursday, with the Bethany Lutheran men's golf team finishing second with a score of 325 (+41). Martin Luther won the dual meet with a 316 (+32).
Ginter posted medalist honors at the New Ulm Country Club, as he fired of a 2-over 73 at the event. Jakob Swanson gave him a run for his money, as he shot a 74 to finish 3-over and one off the leader.
Eli Wetzel shot an 87 to finish +16, while
Teien Murphy rounded out the Bethany scores at 91 (+20).
Arturo Fraile Beltran and
Ian Krenik also competed for BLC and finished with scores of 93 (+22) and 95 (+25).
Bethany will be back in action next Thursday when they travel to Becker, Minn. for the UMAC Preview.
