ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced their end of the season women's soccer awards and seven Bethany Lutheran student-athletes earned All-Conference honors. Olaitz Azkue Muguruza and Elena Luján Rubio earned First Team, Ashley Casper and Emma Rowen earned Second Team, while Mia Johnson, Riley Ping, and Arayah Baker were named Honorable Mention.

Azkue Muguruza had her most successful season in her Vikings career, once again one-upping her points for her third straight All-Conference honor. Azkue had a career-high 23 points on the season after posting seven goals and nine assists this season with her assists being a UMAC-best. 

Lujan Rubio also earns her third straight All-Conference honors after a similar season to Azkue, tying her teammate for the most assists in the conference this season with nine while also setting a career-high in points. Lujan Rubio's 12 goals put her total to 33 points on the year with her goals being the fourth most in the conference and the points putting her third. 

Rowen earns her first All-Conference honor after a solid year helping the Viking defense. The sophomore started in 18 games this season in the back row, helping Bethany hold opponents to just 1.95 goals per game, with that number going down to 1.36 when the Vikings competed in UMAC contests. 

Casper joins Azkue and Lujan Rubio with her third straight All-Conference honor in the Bethany midfield. The senior showed her versatility for the Vikings, helping the team's defense while also adding to the offensive attack, posting six goals and four assists on the season for 16 total points. 

Johnson gains her first All-Conference honors after her career year that saw her post three goals and eight assists for 14 points. Both numbers were career highs, with her assists being tied for the third most in the UMAC this season. Johnson was also named to the UMAC All-Sportsmanship team. 

Ping found herself in the top 15 in the UMAC in goals this season as she was able to find the back of the net five times. She was one of five Vikings with at least five goals on the season, with all of her scores coming in conference contests. 

Baker rounds out the All-Conference selections after starting 15 matches in net this season. She posted a 7-5-2 record with three shutouts on the season, saving 96 shots while allowing 28 goals for a .774 save percentage.
