LE SUEUR, Minn. -The Bethany Lutheran men's golf team traveled up the road to New Prague and Le Sueur for a pair of 18-hole rounds as part of the Bobby Krig Invite on Saturday and Sunday and carded a team score of 705 (+141).

Jakob 'Jake' Swanson led Bethany in the event, finishing tied for 61st as he carded an 86 and an 80 for a two day score of 166 (+25). Teien Murphy was the next scoring Viking, improving from a 92 Saturday to an 85 on Sunday to shoot 177 (+36). Arturo Fraile Beltran and Eli Wetzel rounded out the Bethany scores, firing off total scores 178 (+37) and 184 (+43), respectively. Jacob Ferrin of Bethel and Stellan Orvick of Augsburg earned medalist honors at the event as they fired off scores of 143 (+2). 

Bethany is action two more times this coming week, as they travel to Stillwater on Monday for a duel with MLC before a meet in New Ulm on Thursday.
