STILLWATER, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran golf team's took on MLC on Monday afternoon at Indian Hills Golf Club with the men's team shooting a 331 (+43) to defeat the Knights who shot 356 (+68). 

Jakob 'Jake' Swanson led the way for the second consecutive meet, shooting a 5-over 77 with four birdies on his scorecard to earn medalist honors for the Vikings. Arturo Fraile Beltran also shot a career low for Bethany, as he rebounded from a double bogey on his first hole to fire off a score of 81 (+9). Teien Murphy was right behind Fraile Beltran with an 82 (+10), while Eli Wetzel rounded out the Bethany scoring by posting a 91 (+19). 

On the women's side, Olivia Krause won medalist honors for the Vikings after matching a season low with a score of 102 (+30). Isabella Garza closed out the Bethany competitors nearly matching her career best as well, as she fired off a score of 109 (+37).
