NEW ULM, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran golf team's concluded their season on Thursday afternoon at the MLC Invite in New Ulm. The Viking men's team finished in fifth place out of nine teams shooting a 337 (+53) with Northwestern winning the event at 309 (+25).
Jakob 'Jake' Swanson led the Vikings once again, carding an 80 (+9) to finish in a tie for 14th place, while
Teien Murphy was a few strokes behind him at 82 (+12) to finish t-19th.
Arturo Fraile Beltran and
Eli Wetzel rounded out the scoring for Bethany as they each finished in a tie for 28th after shooting 87 (+16).
The Viking women had two individuals compete on Thursday afternoon, with
Olivia Krause finishing in a tie for 17th place with a score of 104.
Isabella Garza then posted a season low when she fired off a 107 to finish in a tie for 22nd.
