ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran men's golf team Tuesday afternoon kicked off their season at the Keller Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn. at the UNW Invite and took second place overall. The Vikings finished with a score of 315 (+27), trailing only Northwestern who scored 313 (+25).

Keaton Ginter and Jake Swanson both had solid days for the Vikings, posting rounds of 76 (+4) to finish tied for fourth overall. Arturo Beltran also opened his season with a top-10 finish, taking ninth with a score of 80 (+8). Rounding out the Bethany scores was Teien Murphy who scored 83 (+11) to tie for 21st. 

The Vikings will next be in action on Saturday and Sunday when they head to the Twin Ports Invite hosted by UW-Superior.
