RICE LAKE, Wis. - Anthony Nicolai won medalist honors Saturday at the UW-Superior Spring Invite, played at Turtleback Golf Club. Bethany men's golf finished third out of four teams with a two-round score of 317-317-634. 

Nicolai carded a four-over par 75 on day one and then went three-over par in the second round for a 149. He tied Jack Schmitz of St. Scholastica but won on a scorecard playoff. 

Matthew Olmanson and August Waxin (individual) tied for eighth at 85-74-159 and 79-80-159, respectively. Victor Geijerman tied for 12th at 79-83-162 and Julian Bhardwaj finished 20th at 82-86-168. 

Mattie Mears was the lone Viking woman to compete and she took fourth with a 93-86-179. 

Bethany is scheduled to compete in the Indian Hills Tourney on Monday in Stillwater, Minn.
