ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany senior Elena Luján Rubio (Alborache, Spain) has been named UMAC Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Luján Rubio helped Bethany go 2-0 last week with convincing wins over Martin Luther (8-1) and Crown (9-1). Against Martin Luther, Luján Rubio set a career-high with four goals, tying the single game program record. She also assisted on two other goals for a 10-point game. And against Crown, Luján Rubio scored two goals and assisted on two others for a six-point game, finishing the week with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Luján Rubio moved into second place in program history, now with 123 career points.
