Bethany Lutheran College Athletics

While at Bethany Jan was a stand out athlete in basketball on teams that played in back to back National Junior College Athletic Association tournaments in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1961 and 1962.  Jan hit the winning free throws in the 1962 Hibbing regional that put Bethany Lutheran College into the national tournament that year.  In the six games Bethany played during that tournament Jan went 28 for 28 from the free throw line.
