Thaddeaus played forward for Bethany’s basketball team from 1992 through 1994.  While playing for Bethany Lutheran College Thaddeaus lettered both years, was a team captain and MVP during the 1993 – 94 season, was a member of the Region 13 all region team, and a second team NJCAA All American.

 

Thaddeaus continued his playing career after graduating from Bethany at the University of Wisconsin – Stout.  Here his accolades continued to grow as he garnered two all tournament team awards, as well as UW-Stout’s Iron Man, Top Rebounder and Most Improved player.  Thaddeaus was also a two time WIAC player of the week winner.

 

On receiving his bachelor’s degree in 1998 taught kindergarten for seven years before earning a Master’s degree in Administration and Leadership in 2006 and serving as an assistant principal.  Thaddeaus’s interest in athletics continued as well manifesting itself coaching high school basketball for three seasons, serving as a part time athletic director for three years.  Most recently Thaddeaus has turned his attention to officiating.  In the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association he has officiated at the state tournament level and was an official in both football and basketball.  He has officiated the McDonald’s High School All-American game and continues to officiate basketball games at the collegiate level for the NCAA.

 

Thaddeaus serves his community in many areas.  He volunteers to help with the Special Olympics, and the Milwaukee March of Champions Middle School Tournament; he is the trainer and development coordinator for the Central City Football Association; he is a member of the Lighthouse Group, serves on the Boys and Girls club staff and acts as a rules interpreter for the Midwest Minority Officials group.
