Hall of Fame
Jeff Brudwick played basketball from 1984-86 and baseball from 1985-86 for
the Vikings. On the court, he was a starting guard and led the team in assists his
freshman year. On the diamond, he was a starting second baseman for the first
baseball team in the new era. He was named All-State and All-Region in 1986. That
same season, he led the team with a .383 batting average, 28 hits, 29 runs, 12 RBIs,
and a perfect 18-18 in stolen bases. Besides being a two-sport athlete at Bethany,
Jeff took art courses, and in 1986 one of his paintings won the Bethany Purchase
Award. Jeff also joins his father, Dean Brudwick, as a member of the Athletic Hall
of Fame. Dean was inducted in 2008, and like Jeff, he was a star basketball and
baseball player for the Vikings and was a member of our 1958-59 basketball team
that placed second in the nation.
